Ukiyo-e Tea Room / 1st Floor
A luxurious space to enjoy Japanese history and art
In our hotel’s special tea room, we display the entire series of “Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido” by Utagawa Hiroshige, a famous ukiyo-e artist from the Edo period. Enjoy a relaxing moment in this luxurious space where history and art blend.

The tea room on the 1st floor displays “Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido”* by Utagawa Hiroshige (1826-1869), inspired by the Sanjo Ohashi Bridge in Kyoto.
*A series of 55 ukiyo-e woodblock prints depicting the 53 post stations along the Tokaido road from Edo to Kyoto, plus the starting and ending points.
