Ukiyo-e Tea Room / 1st Floor
A luxurious space to appreciate Japanese history and art
The special tea room in our hotel displays the complete series of “Fifty-three Stations Famous Places Illustrated” by Edo period ukiyo-e artist Utagawa Hiroshige. Enjoy peaceful moments in this luxurious space where history and art converge.

The tea room on the 1st floor displays Utagawa Hiroshige’s (1826-1869) “Fifty-three Stations Famous Places Illustrated” in connection with Kyoto’s Sanjo Bridge.
*A series of 55 ukiyo-e woodblock prints depicting the 53 stations of the Tokaido route connecting Edo to Kyoto, plus Nihonbashi and Kyoto’s Sanjo Bridge.
